SPI Appoints Vice President of World Wide Sales

Jeff Cashen Brings More Than 20 years of High-Volume Semiconductor Sales Experience

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – September 25, 2007 – Stream Processors Inc. (SPI), a leading provider of digital signal processor (DSP) solutions that make parallel processing simple, today announced that it has appointed Jeff Cashen as Vice President of World Wide Sales. With more than 20 years of sales management experience in the semiconductor industry, Mr. Cashen will lead SPI’s efforts in developing and executing customer strategy and ramping up high-volume design wins for SPI.

"Jeff brings an extensive history of DSP and processor sales expertise to SPI," said Chip Stearns, President and CEO of SPI. "Jeff adds strategic value to our expanding company, spearheading long term customer relationships, and will be an instrumental asset to the management team as we’re entering the high-volume sales phase with a rapidly growing pipeline of design wins."

Mr. Cashen started his career at Texas Instruments where he during 16 years held various DSP sales and key management positions. Recently, before joining SPI, Mr. Cashen was vice president of worldwide sales for Ubicom, Inc., a privately held semiconductor company focused on solutions for the digital home. Prior to that, he was general manager of the switching and network processor business unit at AMCC and vice president of worldwide sales for MMC Networks. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Penn State University.
